Build a Bridge and get over it
I like to think that I’m the type of Photoshop user that Rands talks about here. I’d v a layer with the Apple + arrow keys before I’d lay a finger on the mouse. Apple + plus in a couple times, then Apple + option + 0 out. I’m faster with my hands on the keyboard than off.
So imagine my dismay when muscle memory under reaches and an Apple + option + O later my MacBook Pro is grinding to a halt while Photoshop launches Finder Junior—cough—I mean, Bridge. Here’s another key command for you, Adobe: Apple + option + esc. Followed up with a quick enter.
Tonight, something snapped. Maybe it was all the Blue Shells after dinner. I don’t know, but when it happened for the third time in one sitting I couldn’t hit Apple + option + shift + K (like “Save for web…” but with a k) fast enough.
A couple seconds later I had purged all memory of Bridge from Photoshop’s menus—including the back-up (!) Apple + shift + O.
At least I’m pretty sure that’s what it was—I was trigging the “Delete shortcut” button as fast as my mouse would let me.
